Effective date: 17 May 2026 · Company: Structa · Jurisdiction: England & Wales
Structa is a cost-estimation software service for UK residential construction. Builders use it to generate line-itemised quotes; homeowners use it to obtain a feasibility cost range. We provide software. We are not a contractor, builder, broker, agent, or matching service. No contractual relationship is created between any homeowner and any builder by virtue of using Structa.
"Service", "platform", "we" and "our" refer to Structa, the underlying engine, thestructa.buildwebsite, and any related software supplied by us.
By using the service, you agree to these terms.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Structa.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account without refund.
The service is sold on a per-quote basis. There is no subscription, no recurring charge, no minimum commitment and no commission or revenue share. Current pricing is:
Payments are processed by Stripe under their own terms. Because each quote is delivered immediately on successful payment, refunds are not generally issued for completed quotes. If you experience a genuine technical fault, email info@structa.build and we will review case by case. Prices and the free allowance may change with notice posted on the site.
By using the service you grant us a non-exclusive licence to host, process and display your inputs and generated quotes for the purpose of providing the service to you.
Quotes generated by Structa are estimates based on the inputs you supply, public industry data (CIJC labour rates, BCIS regional factors) and live material pricing where available. They are not a fixed price, a contractor's tender, or professional advice. Actual build cost will vary with site conditions, design choices, the contractor you engage, and market movement.
You are responsible for verifying numbers with a qualified professional before entering into any construction contract.
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, or for legal or operational reasons. You may close your account at any time. On closure, your stored quotes and edits may be deleted or anonymised; we may retain transactional records to the extent required by law.
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any reliance you place on a generated estimate. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the greater of (a) £100 or (b) the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited (including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation).
You agree to indemnify Structa, its directors, officers and employees against any claim brought by a third party arising from your unlawful use of the service or breach of these terms.
We may update these terms for legal, business or operational reasons. Material changes will be flagged on the service. Continued use after the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance.
We will attempt to resolve disputes informally first. If unresolved, disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 AA. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please email us at the address below.
